At LL (short of LearningLoop), we form small groups of 3 for every member who joins us and setup weekly office peer to peer hour calls with you (same 3 people, 1 hour every week to chat about growth and your week, to maximize luck and belonging).
We also give you a curated founder community always there to help you, functionally and emotionally.
Back story
LL's 3-person peer group + weekly peer-to-peer office hours are designed to mimic something that most YC founders do after they go thru YC.
During YC, every founder gets weekly check-ins with a dedicated YC partner every week where the partners ask you "did you grow 5-10% this week? if yes why? if no why?".
founders also get dinner nights in groups of 6 every week.this both helps founders grow their startups faster, and it also gives founders friends to be vulnerable with.when YC ends, founders typically form small peer groups of 3 and continue checking in on each other weekly for months and sometimes a year after YC.
How we form every member's journey upon signing up
we'll kickstart your loop (aka your peer group) this with an icebreaking call where the 3 of you answer a few questions to each other. these questions become increasingly deeper, and they're designed to build trust and context between the 3 of you, so that from week 2 onwards you can feel understood by each other and support each other both functionally and emotionally.
we do this with minimum effort and cognitive load from your end, since founder time is so expensive.
No-show policy
We are pretty strict about no-shows. Any member who can't make it to a call must communicate it in their group asap, to avoid wasting other members' time.
3 no-shows in a row without communications gets a member banned from LL.
